So. The game begins. It all started out quite a bit slow, nobody really talking to me, and vice versa. But then came the night before the first challenge and its like everyone popped out of the woodwork. 1 by 1 people started assimilating to the tribe and getting to know each other and starting to talk.
I had the chance to talk to and click with Max and Pete pretty much off the bat. I like both of their personalities and we just seemed to connect. Chase on the other hand, oh lord. Hes something else entirely. Im not sure if he just always wants to be funny or if he is just 14 in reality and he just doesnt know when to shut up, but regardless, its rubbed me, and from what ive heard, a lot of other people the wrong way. Oh well.
Alex was another pleasant surprise. Shes a pretty chill chick, and weve got along pretty much instantly. We dont talk a lot, but the amount we do talk it seems pretty effortless and seems to be pretty genuine, so thats good.
The rest, Bobby Jon, Misty, and Katie...they are just there for me. They arent like annoying or anything, but they dont put in an effort to get to know me or talk to me, so I dont either. I like the people Ive clicked with and I dont feel a need to be assed to put in an effort to get to know other people at this moment.
After all the general getting to know each other hijinks at the beginning of the game, we had our first challenge. I felt like our tribe had a pretty good strategy going into it, target 1 person at a time and take that person out...but then the other tribe just started hitting us full force. They were splitting their hits up at first, but then caught onto the better strategy which was ours. They had more people on, and thanks to that, and my tribes poor communication and misunderstanding of the rules, we lost...badly.
Oh well though. throughout the challenge Eddie kept talking to me, not sure if hes just already setting seeds in my tribe to try and get an agenda of his to happen or what, but it was pretty obnoxious. Hes trying wayyyy too hard. Stick to your own tribe Eddie babe, and Ill stick to mine. Thanks xoxo.
This first vote...Pretty straight forward. It all comes down to tribal unity, and who hasnt clicked with the most of us. If you cant tell already I think its pretty obvious. Do I feel bad for Chase? Yes and no. He needs to up his social game, and lower his size on the radar if he wants to do good. Bad for his is that he wont get that chance.
