Hello, Host Chelsea! It's such an honor to be a guest on your talk show. I'm really excited to talk about I Am That Girl
TM and all of the wonderful work that we're doing to help the girls of today become the absolute best them that they can be tomorrow. I hope that the example I set here in Tahiti will help me be able to bring my cause into the media spotlight, so that people will pay more attention to the many issues that plague girls today and make them feel unattractive and unloved.
1. Your thoughts on the game so far? I'm really enjoying the game thus far! It's been a bit of a whirlwind couple of days. I'm a very scatterbrained person, so I forgot to check my email and didn't notice that the game had started. Boy, did I ever feel silly! And that's just something that happens in life - we all make mistakes. The important thing is to pick yourself up afterwards, dust yourself off, and have a good laugh about it. We all love to blame ourselves for things that go wrong, so if you take ownership of your mistakes, you're already silencing your biggest critic! If you're willing to forgive yourself, and let yourself value the real you, others will fall in line. Trust me, I'm That Girl!
It's been a bit of a challenge to get to know people, but I think that I've done a good job of endearing myself and letting my perky positive personality shine forth. People like being in the presence of someone with self-possession, who's willing to be genuine!
Are you enjoying your new tribes?
It's always important to enjoy yourself, no matter where you are and what you're doing. Getting to know new people is a lot of fun, and I'm really enjoying the connections that I'm making with my tribemates. I think a lot of the more vibrant personalities wound up on the other side of the line, but that's okay! It just means that I'll have more new friends to make when a swap or merge comes down the pipeline!
2. What twist are you expecting to come in play this game?
Well, I think if I could expect a twist this early it couldn't be a very good one, now could it? Life's full of surprises, and you can never really know what's going to happen. With a can-do attitude and self-determination, there isn't much that life can throw your way that you won't be able to handle - and even if you can't go it alone, that's what friends are for! As my grandmother always said, hope for the best, but prepare for the worst!
3. Who do you like the most? Dislike the most?
Honestly, there are so many great things about my tribemates that it's hard to compare them. Each of them has a lot of different things about them that make them special, and they all bring different skills and talents to the table. I love all of them, for different reasons, so it's really hard to pick a favorite. Katie's got a wonderful attitude, Bobby Jon has a great way of relating to other people, Pete's very casual and laid back, Sierra's proud and strong, Max is intelligent, Chase has phenomenal self-possession, and Misty has fantastic taste in her
Survivor favorites. No two of them are alike, and that's what makes them all worth knowing!
If there's anybody I dislike, it's probably the folks from Vahine who seemed to be gloating and rubbing our faces in their success. There's nothing wrong with healthy competition and wanting to be the best at something, but it's always a good idea to exercise caution so you don't hurt other people's feelings. If anything, I think it shows a lack of self-esteem, and I hope that I'll have the chance to minister to that while I'm here!
4. Tell us one fun fact about yourself.
Li'l ol' me? I'm not really interested in talking about myself. If anything, I'd rather hear more about you, Host Chelsea. I understand you're relatively new to ORGs. What attracted you to the games? Are you hoping that you'll actually get to compete on the show someday? How's it been finding your footing in the community?
I'm sure the people want to know!
5. Your first challenge is tonight, what are you expecting?I'm expecting that it'll be a fight night challenge, where we'll have to slug it out with the other tribe for Immunity. I think we'll initially come on strong, but eventually lose the challenge due to a series of blunders and inefficient tactics. There'll probably also be a few crude jokes made, which is really unfortunate. This is family entertainment, after all!
Thanks for having me on the show, Chelsea!
