Ironically thoughtful title but I figured I should give a reaction to my boot lol. I've learned a few things since but I'll just act as if I didn't know those things (like how Pete was really with Sierra more so than BJ).
Getting booted: I'm not really that surprised to be honest because Pete just hasn't been able to separate himself from BJ this entire game. After Matty's boot we had a long talk which consisted of him telling me why he couldn't trust Matty after we sorta left him in the dark during the Alexis vote. Unfortunately my vacation kinda prevented me from taking the alpha role and I neglected to bring it up because I thought master strategist Matty would.
I'm kinda surprised Danielle/Sarah voted for Pete considering both of them said they'd be down to go after BJ. They changed their vote while I was offline for the afternoon and never told me soooo I wasn't able to change it to Pete and force the tie. It fuckin sucks really because there was a whole mess of variables that got me out, not really ONE specific thing that did it.
Self reflection time: Overall I'm really happy with how I played the game. I've subsequently learned I was thought of as one of the favorites at F6 which is good to hear. I'm surprised I went before a bigger target like Danielle and arguably Sarah. Maybe I wasn't as hidden as I thought.
I'm proud of myself in that I was able to keep my "gameplan" in check in terms of playing a pretty honest game from start to finish. Dare I say I actually played it well in terms of giving myself a good chance to win heading into the F6?
