Hey guys, as I said earlier in private. Congrats to both of you on making it this far and good luck.

Just a quick note, I've said this to the jury but I feel the need to say it again. I've had an amazing time through this entire game and I really enjoyed playing with each and every one of you. No hard feelings towards anyone personally. And a big thanks to the hosts, this game was great.

Um, so this is gonna be a little tiny bit harsh guys. I like to say I'm thorough but it can come across as mean, I'm sorry in advance.

Sierra:

I'm gonna be straight up with you here girl, you have an uphill battle here for many people's votes including mine. To be quite honest, I'm trying my absolute hardest searching for a reason to vote for you besides your challenge skills. You have as fair a shot as BJ to get my vote but right now, the onus is really on you to get it or for BJ to blow it. Here's what I think I know:

You're a challenge beast, some would say against weak competition but I think that's unfair to say. Mad props for that, I'm not gonna trivialize that accomplishment. It'll definitely weigh heavily in my decision

Secondly, your social game was lacking to say the least, ESPECIALLY when compared to BJ. We talked about twice the whole game. The first time was when you tried to throw me under the bus for stuff I didn't say. On top of that, you were near inactive for the first half (more?) of the game. Many others echo my same complaint and the Pete fiasco adds to that immensely, but I'll get to that later.

Third, you said in your opening statement that a key to your game was "Dont let ANYONE control my game." I ask how you achieved that considering BJ saved you with his idol. You were at the mercy of Bobby Jon, who saved who he probably believes to be his goat. You lost my respect a little bit blatantly ignoring something that contradicts 1/3 of your argument. This similarly flows into my 4th and final point:

Your strategic game was not very good. Without the use of BJ's idol, you'd be gone. Without your overpowered-as-fuck item your ally and likely you after would be gone. You lost complete control of those two votes and your alliance gained the majority through little/no strategic skill at all. On top ALL that, you took BJ of all people to the end. This, to me, proves how strategically imperceptive you really were. You made a major, major betrayal to take the most likable guy in the game to the end. That's a pretty rough strategic resume if you ask me.

Bobby Jon: 

As you can probably tell, I'm very criticizing of Sierra's gameplay. That doesn't mean you're in the clear though. You're a great guy, but I also can't ignore the fact that you don't carry much of a strategic resume to boast to the jury.

Sierra carries some major negatives but some of those could be similarly applied to you. I think you and your alliance lost control during the Abi-boot and similarly so in the Matty blindside. You played a quiet game, which is respectable. But you, like Sierra didn't had a rocky road to the end and benefited immensely from items. You didn't take you to the end though, so you got that going for ya.

I suppose your physical game is lacking when compared to Sierra, but definitely not something I can criticize you for.

What's something you regret in this game? An interaction, a move, a vote?

Ooh, let me think. Off the top of my head, one thing I regret is telling Abi that she was safe in her boot round, even though I honestly believed she was (thanks a lot, vote reversal). I don't like getting people's hopes up just to crush them, and unless there's an unknown factor like an idol in play, I try to be as straightforward with people as possible. Fortunately, I cleared things up with Abi a few seconds before she left the game for good.


I also wish that I had chatted with you more during the premerge, Eddie. You seem like a fun guy, and if I had, it might have been easier to convince you to flip so that I wouldn't have had to worry about going to rawks (which somehow ended up never happening).

What are you most proud of in this game?

I'm most proud of:

1) Being persuasive enough to weasel my way into the Final 2 despite being on the outs of a Final 2 deal

2) Being the only person in the game to play an idol correctly

3) Forming friendships with my fellow castaways, and using those connections to make sure I wasn't in danger each round.

4) Oh, and being voted Funniest Castaway in that one challenge!

Right on, I like the little things too. The big one that comes to mind is sharing the info that I had an idol with Pete. I wasn't planning on sharing that with anyone, but Pete approached me and told me he had the double vote. I needed a close ally in this game, so to solidify his trust, I reciprocated and informed him about my idol. That definitely worked out great in the long run.

Another little thing was my round to round check-ins with Danielle, where we told each other whether we were in danger or not. This started all the way back at the Darrah vote. This was especially helpful at the Final 7, as Danielle boosted my confidence enough for me to play my idol on Sierra, which ended up turning the game around.

A final lil' thing is that I played up my crazy side/weakness in challenges. My wild side was 100% genuine, but I made sure everyone knew about it so that they would write me off as a jokester who doesn't take the game seriously. That combined with my not trying too hard in challenges added up so that, in the end, I was never a target for elimination.

Ok. Well I want to step back before I answer the first few questions you have, and address what you had to say about my game. By taking control of my own game, I mean this: When push came to shove, I knew what was going to happen in this game to me, and I knew that I had the power to change that. In the case of the idol being played, I didn’t NEED BJs idol, like I said in my opening statement, having control over my own game didn’t always mean…having the votes, because lets be real, with Misty in the game, Tane was going to very seldom have the votes on their side. If I made it seem like I meant I always would have the votes on my side and I would always need the votes on my side…that was a misstatement by me. By controlling my own game, I knew, no matter what, that I had the people with me that I needed with me and I had some sort of control over their decision making process and what they were going to do. I know this is jumbled as FUCK, but im not the best typer or the best orator, but im trying to explain this as clear as I can. SO back to Bjs idol, like I said…I didn’t need his idol. Without it, I made sure that I had another avenue to pursue if his idol had not come into play. We need not forget about the double vote that was used that round…that was backup plan #1. Backup plan #2 for me was to try and get Danielle’s vote…something that Danielle was receptive to, until she thought I didn’t have petes vote on my side (which I always had, but chose not to clue her in on, because I did not want it to mess up my plan to flush out powers this round). But ya, that’s just a snippet of what went on that round to show that I really had a bit more control over what happened than what everyone thought. I wasn’t saved by BJs idol…if anything he was saved by it because it put Tane as a whole in a power positon. I had several other avenues to explore if Bjs idol was off the table.


Ok so this question is sort of similar to the question asked by Sarah…il try not to be repetitive, and excuse me if I am, because that’s not my intentions at all.

Tell me one thing you learned about each jury member personally/something you bonded over

Pete: I learned that he wears Manpris…(capris for men…obviously). He used to live in Australia?! I believe. He lives in Florida now?! He loves miss Grande. He has blue eyes. He beats wives…his words not mine!!! Shrek the musical is god awful in his opinion. And…he just LOVES, absolutely LOVES Jesus Camp…but then again..who doesn’t?!

Sarah: We both have a love for Harry Potter. We had a pretty decent conversation about the wands from HP, and how I have a few of my own…even if they don’t control my damn tv…(hope you went and bought yourself one because if so, im already jealous).

Danielle: I learned that Danielle was a Greys Anatomy guru. Although I only saw one episode where the guy got his little weiner bit off, she clued me in on what I already knew, the Asian is the best and how the show is basically the most addicting thing on the planet earth. She also got to know how I operated, and I think knew how I thought almost better than anyone else in this game.

Eddie: I learned that you were from the lovely state of Rhode Island…well I mean, if you can even call that small piece of land a state. Other than that..we never really clicked. But I mean, more my bad than yours I guess since it speaks to my poor social game haha.

Matty: Ive said it once, and Ill say it again, we NEVER spoke personally one on one. I don’t know much about you, but I can only assume that you shower nightly, and smell like a saint…and not stinky saint, but a well-groomed and clean saint.

Alexis: The one thing that pops into my head whenever I think of you was when we had the conversation of how the Vahine tribe OBVIOUSLY hated strong powerful women by the way that they took us out so early on in the first challenge. Started off with a good first impression that lasted the rest of the game.

Abi-Maria: Didn’t talk much in the game. Didn’t plan on her being on the jury, but I mean, ive said it once and Ill say it a thousand more times…FUCK.YOU.MISTY. But I did learn that she was competent, she was fearless, and she really fought to get to where she got, regardless of if I used my power on her or not, she deserved a spot on the jury over misty.

Only thing that I can think of for this is the round that Eddie left, Danielle and Sarah were trying to get BJs vote, and he entertained the idea slightly even though he knew he was never in any scenario going to side with them. He had tried to make a f2 with me earlier in the game but I rebuked him on it/never gave him a clear answer. That’s about all I got…he wasn’t the most controversial of players haha.
Oh and that little bastard said he was going to try in that final immunity and made me go for 15 hours and he only clocked in 10 damn minutes...he made me get a damn migraine!! #RudeAF

What are you most proud of in this game?

I think I am most proud of my dedication. While some may say I was MIA for most of the game, or some may say I wasn’t really ‘trying’ I know that was far from the case. Usually in games like this I will get to a certain point and not care, I will just say ehh, its just a game, im not going to put the effort or time into it like I should. But this game was different. I cared. I tried. I fought tooth and nail to get to where I am at. I posted for 15 damn hours to ensure that I got here, and for anyone who says I don’t care…well I hope that alone can prove you a little bit wrong. I wanted to get here, because for the first time in any org, I had a chance to get here. Maybe I made the wrong move at the end, maybe not, but I am proud of how dedicated I was, and I am proud to be in the final 2 after being declared an underdog so early on.

Oh the little things. Where to start. Well the first little thing I did was make a strong alliance that lasted the duration of this game. Was it not for me being paranoid and stupid, Pete would be here with me, and I would be a happy camper. Im still a happy camper, but Im let down that I let greed overtake compassion in my heart. Another little thing of mine was the close bond I was able to forge with Danielle. Trust me, I seriously considered taking Danielle/Sarah or Danielle/Pete with me to the end over what happened, but my gut convinced me otherwise. Danielle was my source of info from inside Vahine, and I placed a lot of trust in her, rightfully so, because she had my back, even if she was forced to vote me out in the round Matty left. Without her, I probably wouldn’t have had the inside knowledge to make the moves I made to get here. The final ‘small’ move that helped me get here was my ability to make myself seem like a person who NEEDED to be kept. I made both BJ and Pete know that they needed me around if they wanted any chance to get to the end of this game, that’s why both of them used their powers the round Matty left to help keep me…and Tane in the game.

Oh not sure if this is a good or bad thing, but along the way I was the reason several people left the game. Darrah…I was the one who threw her name out there. Regarding the Final 2, I WAS hoping to go to the end with you, but I specifically said I didn't want to force you to make a deal (although I guess I should have? ;O)

At least speaking for myself, I didn't have to be convinced. Matty was always the one I wanted to idol out that round too, as I knew the boys' alliance wasn't happening, and I had never talked to Matty throughout the whole game (so basically I wanted him gone for the same reason as you). So this isn't true with regards to me. It might be for Pete though, I can't remember (I have the memory of a goldfish).

All I know is that the initial conversation was that Sarah would be a smart bet to idol out because she would be least likely for their side to use an idol on and it seemed like everyone was receptive to it because nobody spoke up and said wait no no lets just do Matty. It wasnt until I brought Matty up I believe that things changed. And then after that we had the big scare of if we use both powers or not and all that jazz.

Ah yes, the big Tané scare of 2015 lol. If I'm remembering correctly, I had guests over at my house at the time when Matty was voted out. I couldn't be on AIM as much, so that might explain why I didn't answer, if that's the case. But I swear, I specifically remember that I kept bringing up Matty's name whenever Pete brought up Sarah's. Regardless, in my mind, I was always gonna vote for Matty.
