Well I was certainly not expecting Alexis to go home...but I think it ended up working out!
You see, Danielle told me that Alexis promised she would work with Vahine if they didn't vote her out at the swap--however, since she voted with us last round, they saw her as wishy washy and playing both sides, so they blindsided her.
I guess that kind of worked out for me too? If she was flipping, that is.
Thankfully, I'm feeling confident this round, like a baby who just got out of diapers. It's 4-4, but Pete has his American Vote Doubler, so that should give us the edge!
I'm only nervous that Misty will get lost on the way to Tribal...

I love being voted both biggest hero and biggest villain simultaneously. It just shows what a ~star~ I am.
Misty might be getting medevacced...Pete wants to vote for her, but then we'd be in the minority, which would be stupid.
Speaking of Pete, he got voted for a lot of positive answers in the questionnaire--I may have to cut him loose when we get closer to the end.

Oh but for now I just want to vote our MATTY because he was the answer for every question like "Who has this game in the bag?"

Pete has been talking to Eddie and Matty about a boys' alliance, which is like, OK, if it saves me next round then sure.
So I subtly approached Matty with a lot of Caps Lock and winky faces about Pete's plans. I had to teach Matty how to count, and I reminded him it'd be 4-3 for the boys next round should Misty get evacuated.
I don't think they're on board, but whatever. The main part of my "strategy", if you wanna pretend I have one, is keeping my options open--I'm on good terms with everyone left, so I'm usually clued in on things.
The only thing I'm worried about is PETE TOLD MATTY HE HAD THE DOUBLE VOTE FOR SOME REASON. Like, I don't follow the logic, but it's his vote doubler...that's ok though, Pete is still my closest ally, and the worst it could do is make him a target before me.
This round, Misty is probably gonna leave, which kind of brews up some trouble for Tané. To be honest, we're probably gonna vote for her because YOLO.
I was shocked me and Misty were one of the duos voted Closest Pair in the challenge. Danielle told me that the talk of the town was that Katie, Max, Misty and I had an alliance back on Tané, which is almost true, and that's why people voted that. The only thing is that Misty wasn't a part of it, haha.
Geez, we're shedding Tané members like you shuck corn off a cob.
