Max Dawson's first impressions

Making this is a test to see if this is public by accident. Not that any other castaway would be so kind as to tell me if it is. Would they? It's a curious thing to consider and think about.

So going ahead assuming I am putting this in the right place,

EDIT: Darrah - Within 2 minutes of sign ups she asks if we could work together. *shaking head* These kids. So eager.
Danielle - Good presence in the group chat.
Matty - Great presence in the group chat. Possible social threat.
Sarah - Another solid presence. This is getting repetitive. Maybe I should have waited till I actually talked to a more players besides Darrah to do this.

Katie Hanson - Sigh Well you can't have a good rapport with everyone. I tried to carry the convo and seem as interested as I could in small talk but there was just no chemistry there. It's a shame. I like the Katie Hanson rep choice.

EDIT: I have warmed up to Katie a bit. Still a tad boring. But the effort and interest seems to now be there. It was very cute of her to find me a gif that I was talking about when I said I couldn't find it.




Its the little things in life that make all the difference 

EDIT2: Student. In college. Done with first year. Studying Comp Science   I should have been able to have a better rapport with her in that case. Cut from the same ... or in this case similar cloth and all.

My backstory -

Living in LA. Born and raised. High school sophomore. Age 16. More details as and when I make them up.

EDIT: Taking 3 classes over the summer. 2 computer coding things. 1 history. Mainly to explain my long hours of absence aka when I am too bored to talk to these people.

Danielle - By far the best talk I have had in this game. A good pace. Good content. Nice rapport. I see potential.

EDIT:  Offered her a proposition to work together/alliance. She seemed receptive. Also told her about Darrah to see if she tells me that Darrah did the same to her. She didn't give any info in return. I'd like to give her the benefit of the doubt in that Darrah didn't actually ask her. 

I like Danielle. She is invested in the conversation. And puts effort. I always appreciate that. Because at this stage the talks are usually v boring. So to put in effort is indicative of genuine interest. And if she is faking interest she is doing a damn good job at it. Either way. I like seeing that effort in an ally.

EDIT2: She is a student but on break. Pursuing to become a literature teacher. 21. Works as a bartender but on break from that as well.

EDIT3: Post IC#1. Said she got the ball rolling on making sure I get the idol clue. I am feeling a little distant from her tbh. Like today morning I was really looking forward to talking to her and spilling everything about my alliances. But after a little small talk, it feels like the same rapport isn't there. Which is sad. I haven't given up on this potential duo just yet. But if before I was "All in", now I am hesitant and mulling things over. Being careful what I tell her.

Abi - Nothing special but solid. MORP3. Knows how to maintain a decent pace for a convo. Tries to keep it moving forward and doesn't give stonewalling replies like some people. I do see potential. But playing with a non-alias AIM. Either indicative of a noob to these or lack of care. Either of those could be a liability. The backstory is a curious one as well. Graduated school 9 years ago yet never learned how to drive. Living in NYC as a nanny. But a good conversation is enough for me to give benefit of doubt. I see potential for sure.

Eddie - Rhode Island. Also a student. Sophomore in college. Actually very very good. A very smooth flow to the chat. Never felt like I was carrying the convo. Good natural rapport I think. Well spoken guy. I'd be ecstatic if I was able to work with him in some capacity. Which is even more impressive because of the fact that I am not a fan of the rep choice. V cool guy.

EDIT1: Post IC#1 Like Danielle, he also said that he tried to endure I get the idol clue. I still like Eddie a lot. I think at this point I like Eddie just as much as I like Danielle. Still I am not spilling details about my tribe if I don't have to. I might give him bits and pieces of info but not the raw juicy gossip.

BJ - Wanted to keep back story a secret so pretended to be from Tahiti and a student in Max Dawson's class. A bit weird. But the good kind of weird.

Misty - From Australia. HS Sophomore. Will be on winter break starting next week. Very pleasant girl. Could use some improvement on the pace of replying. I shall give her the benefit of the doubt for the first day.

Sierra - An interesting one. Not sure how or why but she really likes me. I know this because she told Pete that she likes me who I just had my first good chat with today. I don't know about her back story yet because we skipped over that due to talking about the challenge. I tried to initiate that talk but haven't heard back. Sierra is a curious case for me. Need more data.
EDIT:  22. Working over the summer before going back to school in the fall. Doing odd jobs for the city?? Never answered where she was from.

Pete - Very chill. Easy going dude. Doesn't dance around stuff at all. Very straight forward. All very attractive qualities in an ally. And a nice pleasant sense of humor too. I see massive potential.
EDIT: 22. Lives in Orlando. Works in Disney.

Alexis - Mehhhhhh. Not the most interesting. But decent. Possibly crafty. Knows how to skirt around issues in chats. Or as the hostess so eloquently puts it, "tiptoe around the tulips" She is part of the "superfangirls" with Misty, Katie and I. But she didn't share her idol guess even though I shared both the clue and my guess with her. Shady shady.
